about

Five-string banjo player Bill Evans' "In Good Company" is a fitting name for a recording that features one of the largest cast of musicians assembled for a project in recent memory. Twenty-six acoustic music legends come together to perform five original instrumental compositions along with a stunning ten-minute bluegrass Beatles medley and songs pairing Bill with The Infamous Stringdusters (performing John Martyn's "Walk to the Water"), Joy Kills Sorrow (performing Sarah Siskind's "On and On") and Tim O'Brien (performing "Follow the Drinking Gourd").
