about

Many of mandolin player John Reischman's beautiful tunes lay out perfectly on the banjo. I had been playing this favorite for almost two decades before I got the hopefully not too misplaced idea to turn it into a banjo tuner showpiece. Banjo geeks take note: the second-string tuner is set from B down to A as usual but the third-string tuner is set from G to A. There's great danger in attempting to play something like this because if something is going to go wrong, it is going to go totally, absolutely wrong. I like living dangerously.
